The practice offers a comprehensive range of neurology services with regular clinic hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, alongside 24-hour weekend call coverage. This position involves outpatient clinic hours from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and the opportunity to provide hospital coverage as needed.
Job Responsibilities- Conduct outpatient visits, managing 6-8 patients daily.
- Provide comprehensive neurology care, including EEG reads for inpatient and outpatient cases.
- Be available for 24-hour call coverage, including weekdays and weekends.
- Perform necessary procedures such as Lumbar Puncture, Radiologic Exam Interpretation, and Brain Death Examination.
- Utilize the Cerner EMR system for patient documentation.
- Respond to after-hours calls and manage inpatient cases as required.
- Board Certified in Neurology (BE not accepted).
- Active Michigan medical license at the time of name clear.
- Active DEA registration.
- Clean malpractice record with details confirmed.
- BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
- Self-query NPDB within the last month.
- Local candidates preferred no flights provided.
