What You Will Do

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated advanced practice provider to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

• Join an established team of physicians and APPs.
• Practice setting: Inpatient
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system.
• Deliver inpatient neurology consultation services, providing comprehensive care for patients in the ED, ICU, and medical/surgical units.
• Manage acute neurological emergencies, including ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, seizures (including status epilepticus), acute encephalopathy, meningitis, and spinal cord disorders.
• Empower patients and families through proactive education on neurological conditions, treatment pathways, and lifestyle management to support long-term quality of life.
• Ensure seamless care continuity by coordinating multidisciplinary referrals and connecting patients with vital healthcare and community resources.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.

Education:

• Master's degree of Nursing required.

Additional Preferences

• 2 years of Neurology APP experience.
