Neurology Medical Director

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is seeking a Regional Medical Director for their comprehensive Neurology program in Chicago's western suburbs. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine clinical practice (90%) with leadership responsibilities (10%), focusing on program performance, engagement, and collaboration within the Great Lakes Region. The Medical Director will play a key role in developing an exceptional, patient-centered care model and ensuring clinical and programmatic excellence.

• Comprehensive Neurology program in the western suburbs of Chicago
• Multidisciplinary diagnostic and medical management approach to neurological issues

• Growing Neurology program
• 90% of this role is in a clinical capacity, with 10% for medical director duties
• General Neurology; sub-specialty areas of interest welcome

Responsibilities

• Create an exceptional, patient centered care model for the Program that includes value, talent, and reputation
• Accountable for the performance, engagement, and collaboration of the clinical program in the Great Lakes Region
• Joint responsibility with the administrative counterpart for leadership and clinical oversight of the Program and clinical services
• Focus on clinical and programmatic excellence and quality of care
• Physician and clinical staff development

Compensation

• Annual Salary: $350,000-$420,000

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited medical school and US residency program
• Current Illinois Physician medical license in good standing
• Board Certified/Eligible, required
• Physician with leadership experience, a plus
