Start Date: Negotiable

End Date/Duration: Ongoing / permanent

Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Hours/week: 40

Licenses/Certifications: Doctor of Optometry (OD), Alabama State Optometry License

Experience: All levels welcomed; prior experience preferred but not required

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to diagnose visual and ocular conditions
• Prescribe corrective lenses and manage contact lens fittings
• Diagnose and treat ocular diseases with medications and therapeutic procedures
• Educate patients on eyewear choices and general eye health
• Collaborate with team members to ensure an outstanding patient experience
• Stay updated on industry advancements and optometry best practices

What You Need

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
• Current Alabama State Optometry License
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
