Neurologist with subspecialty training in epilepsy, movement disorders and/or neuromuscular disorders

Nuvance Health Medical Practice, an affiliate of Vassar Brothers Medical Center and Northern Dutchess Hospital, is seeking a full-time BE/BC Neurologist with subspecialty training in epilepsy, movement disorders, and/or neuromuscular disorders. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a growing Neurosciences program at an outpatient practice in Poughkeepsie, NY. The successful candidate will contribute to a comprehensive neurosciences program and have opportunities for supervising, educating, mentoring, and evaluating residents and medical students.

• Outpatient practice located in Poughkeepsie, NY
• Part of a comprehensive neurosciences program with over 35 physicians and advanced practitioners
• Program includes Neurosurgery, Interventional Neuroradiology, and rehabilitation
• Recently received full accreditation for an ACGME approved residency program

Responsibilities

• Supervising residents and medical students
• Educating residents and medical students
• Mentoring residents and medical students
• Evaluating residents and medical students

Compensation

• Salary: $300,000 - $400,000 annually

Requirements

• M.D. Degree from an accredited institution (ACGME or equivalent)
• Completion of an accredited Neurology residency
• Fellowship training in epilepsy, movement disorders and/or neuromuscular disorders
• BE/BC in Neurology
• Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a physician in the State of New York
