Sanford Health is seeking a Neurologist to build an outpatient neurology practice in Rapid City, South Dakota. - Build your own outpatient neurology practice with the support of Sanford Black Hills in Rapid City, South Dakota
- 100% outpatient neurology
- Full-time or part-time opportunity
- Full time FTE is 36 patient contact hours per week
- Flexibility to develop your areas of clinical interest, i.e. EEG, EMG, Headache, Sleep, etc.
- Work alongside Orthopedic Spine, Neurosurgery specialists and primary care
Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examination
- Admit (if applicable to the setting)
- Provide consultative services
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide nonsurgical care to patients of all ages presenting with illnesses, injuries, and disorders of the neurologic system

Shift & Schedule
- Monday-Friday schedule with no call
- Full time FTE is 36 patient contact hours per week
Requirements
- H-1B and J-1 visa sponsorship available
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of a Neurology residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada in the residency
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
- If not board certified at the time of application but have completed residency training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
