Neurologist

CHRISTUS St. Vincent in Santa Fe, New Mexico, is seeking a General Neurologist to provide comprehensive neurologic care in an outpatient clinic setting. Practice Info

• The CSV Neurology team cares for patients in a well-equipped and appropriately staffed outpatient clinic.
• As a general neurologist, you can expect to provide a broad spectrum of services including consult and treatment for Parkinson's Disease, Huntington's Disease, Epilepsy, Tremors, ALS, MS, Tourette Syndrome, Migraine, Headache, Stroke, Dementia plus more.
• Providers offer Botulinum Toxin Injections.
• The Christus St. Vincent Neurology Specialists Clinic serves patients ages 18 and older.
• Clinic visits include an assessment, neurological exam, and medication reconciliation plus treatment of chronic illnesses.
• Education is provided individually to patients/families, according to the patients' physical and/or emotional status.

Responsibilities

• Provide a broad spectrum of general neurologic services including consult and treatment for various conditions.
• Offer Botulinum Toxin Injections.
• Conduct clinic visits including assessment, neurological exam, and medication reconciliation.
• Treat chronic illnesses.
• Provide individual education to patients/families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and recovery process.
• Opportunity for research and/or family medicine residency teaching.

Requirements

• Candidate must be board certified or eligible in accordance with the ABMS Initial Certification Requirements.
• Graduate of an accredited medical and residency program.
• Obtain or possess an unrestricted NM Medical License.
