• Department of Neurology has a complement of over 40 neurologists system-wide with subspecialty representation
• Member of the Ochsner Neuroscience Institute, ranked as one of the top 50 Neuroscience Centers by U.S. News and World Report
• New Orleans - Epilepsy: Level 4 Epilepsy Center, dedicated adult and pediatric epilepsy monitoring units (EMU), and Visualase MRI-Guided Laser Ablation Technology
• New Orleans - Movement Disorders: Largest DBS program in the Gulf South and Level 2 HDSA Center of Excellence
• New Orleans - Cognitive Disorders: Brain Health and Cognitive Disorders Program collaborating with neuropsychologists, advanced practice clinicians, and social workers
• West Bank of New Orleans - General Neurology: Ambulatory-based practice at Ochsner Medical Center on the West Bank, a 180-bed general medical and surgical acute care facility
• Ochsner Baton Rouge: Full-service, 150-facility with inpatient consultative work and an integrated Telestroke Program
• Ochsner North Shore: Developing neuroscience program with a new facility and integrated telestroke programs

Responsibilities

• Interpret EEG and perform NCS/EMG studies
• Provide consultative inpatient work with hospitalists at Ochsner Medical Center - Baton Rouge
