- Monday – Friday 07:30 – 16:30
- On‑call required
- Freedom from malpractice insurance worries
- Outpatient environment with consultation for inpatient services and stroke coverage when on‑call
Requirements
- Successful completion of an ACGME‑approved Neurology Medical Residency
- Minimum of 2 years of neurological clinical experience
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Board certification in adult Neurology
- Unrestricted medical license in Nevada
Responsibilities
- Examine, diagnose, and treat diseases and disorders of the nervous system
- Provide immediate evaluation and management of emergency problems as they occur
- Perform lumbar punctures, interpret nerve conduction studies and electromyography
- Perform evoked potentials and electroencephalograms
- Administer chemo‑denervation (e.g., botulinum toxin injections) for common neurological conditions
