Sanford Health, one of the largest not-for-profit health systems in the US, is seeking BC/BE neurologists to join their growing team in Fargo, ND. This role offers the opportunity to practice in various subspecialties within a Level I Trauma Center and Joint Commission Accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center. Clinicians will work collaboratively with a large team of neurologists and advanced practice providers, with opportunities for academic appointment and resident education.

- The department consists of 17 neurologists and 8 advanced practice providers
- Subspecialty representation in neuromuscular disease, epilepsy, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis/neuroimmunology, headache, stroke, neuro-ophthalmology, and neuro-hospitalist
- Hospital Coverage is provided by neuro hospitalists
- Neuro ICU covered by neuro-intensivists
- Work in collaboration with colleagues in neurosurgery, neuroradiology, neuropsychology, and physical medicine and rehabilitation
Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examination
- Admit patients (if applicable to the setting)
- Provide consultative services
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide nonsurgical care to patients of all ages presenting with illnesses, injuries, and disorders of the neurologic system
- Obtain an academic appointment at University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences
- Collaborate with basic scientists and educate medical students and residents

Shift & Schedule
- Monday - Friday clinic hours (with the exception of stroke)
Requirements
- BC/BE neurologists
- Subspecialty fellowship training is preferred for subspecialties
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of a Neurology residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
- If not board certified at time of application but completed residency within last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from residency completion date
