Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist with fellowship training in Multiple Sclerosis to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a clinic-based setting with hospital coverage provided by neuro hospitalists, and to engage in research and academic pursuits. Practice Info

  • Clinic based practice
  • Hospital Coverage is provided by neuro hospitalists
  • The department consists of 2 MS physicians and 15 additional neurologists and 8 advanced practice providers with subspecialty representation in neuromuscular disease, epilepsy, movement disorders, headache, stroke, neuro-ophthalmology, and neuro-hospitalist
  • Research opportunities
  • Opportunity to obtain an academic appointment at UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences with an opportunity to collaborate with basic scientists and to educate medical students and residents
  • Neurology Residency Program with 3 residents per year

Responsibilities

  • Perform history and physical examination
  • Admit (if applicable to the setting)
  • Provide consultative services
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide nonsurgical care to patients of all ages presenting with illnesses, injuries, and disorders of the neurologic system

Requirements

  • BC/BE neurologist with fellowship training in Multiple Sclerosis
  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Successful completion of a Neurology residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada in the residency
  • Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
  • If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
  • H-1B visa sponsorship available
