Neurologist - Movement Disorders

CHRISTUS St. Vincent is seeking a dedicated movement disorder neurologist to join their team in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In this outpatient role, you will diagnose and treat conditions such as Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, and dystonia, while also supporting general neurologic care. Practice Info

• The CSV Neurology team cares for patients in our well-equipped and appropriately staffed outpatient clinic
• The Christus St. Vincent Neurology Specialists Clinic serves patients ages 18 plus
• System wide EPIC EMR
• Mayo Network Expertise
• Prior-Authorization Medication Team

Responsibilities

• Specialize in and diagnose PD, essential tremor, Huntington's disease, MSA, PSP, dystonia plus more
• Support with general neurologic care
• Offer in clinic Botulinum Toxin Injections
• Conduct clinic visits that include an assessment, neurological exam, and medication reconciliation plus treatment of chronic illnesses as needed
• Provide education individually to patients/families, according to the patients' physical and/or emotional status
• See patients with a variety of general neurologic conditions
• Participate in research and/or family medicine residency teaching

Requirements

• Candidate must be board certified or eligible
• Graduate of an accredited medical and fellowship program
• Obtain or poses an unrestricted NM Medical License
