Sanford Health is seeking a Neurologist to join their established and busy traditional outpatient practice in Bemidji, Minnesota. This role involves providing comprehensive neurological care to a predominantly adult patient population, supported by a large referral base and a dedicated team.   • Traditional outpatient practice with hospital consults
  • Established and busy practice
  • EMG/EEG technician and registered nurse on staff
  • Practice caseload is predominately adult
  • Large referral base
  • Tele-Stroke from Fargo Medical Center
  • Acute stroke ready hospital designation
  • 118 bed hospital with a 14 bed ICU
  • Level III trauma center

Responsibilities

  • Perform history and physical examination
  • Admit patients (if applicable to the setting)
  • Provide consultative services
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide nonsurgical care to patients of all ages presenting with illnesses, injuries, and disorders of the neurologic system

Compensation

  • Annual compensation floor range (based on 1.0 FTE): $309,230- $400,180
  • Estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs
  • Additional incentives may be offered

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Successful completion of a Neurology residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
  • Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
  • If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
