Overview
Arnot Health medical center serving the Horseheads/Corning/Elmira, NY area is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Neurologist Hospitalist to join our inpatient neurology team.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient neurology consultations for acute and subacute neurological conditions
- Manage neurology inpatients in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Interpret neuroimaging and EEG studies (if applicable)
- Participate in stroke team call/response and manage acute stroke codes
- Provide education to residents, medical students, and advanced practice providers
- Documentation and billing in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
- Provide and interpret EMG/NCS studies (desirable)
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Valid and unrestricted medical license in NYS
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Commitment to inpatient neurology and teamwork
