Sanford Health, one of the largest not-for-profit health systems in the US, is seeking a BC/BE Neurologist with fellowship training in Sleep Medicine to join their established Department of Neurology at Marshfield Medical Center - Weston. This role offers an excellent work-life balance with no call requirements and focuses on 10% Sleep Medicine and 90% General Neurology in an outpatient setting. The position benefits from a high-volume system referral rate and encourages involvement in medical education and research.

Practice Info

  • Joining an established Department of Neurology in Weston, Wisconsin
  • Sleep lab conducted 3 days per week
  • Outreach is a requirement of this role
  • High-volume system referral rate
  • 10% Sleep Medicine & 90% General Neurology
  • Clinic is adjacent to a Trauma Level III - 99 bed hospital

Responsibilities

  • Perform history and physical examination
  • Provide consultative services
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide nonsurgical care to patients of all ages presenting with illnesses, injuries, and disorders of the neurologic system

Shift & Schedule

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Successful completion of a Neurology residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
  • Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
  • Fellowship-trained in Sleep Medicine
  • BE/BC Neurologist
  • H-1B and J-1 visa sponsorship available
