Physician
The Physician provides direct and in-direct medical care to patients of all ages. The Physician will serve as a health care provider and/or consultant in a variety of settings to include primary care, acute care, and specialty clinics. The Physician will have a thorough knowledge of their area of practice and stay current on up-to-date treatment guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Medical School with a Doctorate's degree; Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
- Licensed and in good standing in the state in which they are hired to practice
- Specialty certification may be required by state/contract
- Active DEA and DPS numbers are required
- One (1) one year of experience as a Physician strongly preferred
- BLS/ACLS/PALS per state or contract requirements
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
