Neurologist

The Loma Linda VA is seeking an energetic, driven, and compassionate Neurologist to join our team at the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System. • Affiliated with Loma Linda University Health Medical School
• Outpatient general neurology consult and follow-up clinics featuring both in-person and virtual visits
• Inpatient neurology consult environment

Shift & Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide all services required in the practice of Neurology in the context of the VA system and clinical privileges
• Provide appropriate documentation in the electronic record
• See patients in the outpatient general neurology consult and follow-up clinics, consisting of in-person and virtual visits
• See inpatient neurology consults
• Take calls from the ED as needed
• Provide oversight of all aspects of neurological care delivered to assigned patients
• Perform neurologic procedures, like NCS/EMG, EEG interpretation, and/or botox administration, commensurate to individual training and expertise
• Supervise and teach neurology residents and medical students during their Neurology rotation

Compensation

• $275,000 - $300,000 per year

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologist
• Preferred: Board Certified Neurologist
• Preferred: General Neurologist with experience in both outpatient and inpatient neurological stroke
• Interest or additional training in vascular neurology is desirable
