Valley Baptist Physician Network is seeking a Neurointerventionalist to join a thriving group at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX. This full-time, employed opportunity offers strong mentorship and the chance to practice in a facility with robust resources, including a clinical research department and advanced technology. The role involves providing a full spectrum of neurological services within a supportive environment.

Practice Info

• Practice is located in the Medical Arts Pavilion connected to Valley Baptist Medical Center, a short walk to the Hospital's Cath Lab.
• Clinic operates Monday-Friday.
• Average of 25 patients in the clinic per day and an average of 10-15 surgeries per week initially.
• Cardiology on-call panel includes 10 other providers.
• 4 Cath Lab Suites (Cardiac, EP & Neuro capabilities).
• Valley Baptist Medical Center has a robust Clinical Research Department available for proposed research at the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Perform device implantation and management.
• Offer minimally invasive and advanced treatment options for complex neurological conditions.
• Deliver preventive and rehabilitative neurological programs.
• Participate in teaching opportunities in the academic setting through the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time.
• Clinic operates Monday-Friday.
• On-call schedule determined by group in coordination with the Hospital, approximately 3 days/month.

Requirements

• MD or DO.
• BE/BE in Interventional Cardiology.
• Licensed in Texas or eligible for an unrestricted medical license in the State of Texas.
• J-1 or H-1B visa sponsorship available.
