Neuroimmunologist

Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a Neuroimmunologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join the Friedman Brain Institute and Lipschultz Precision Immunology Institute, with appointments to the Nash Family Department of Neuroscience and Department of Neurology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to world-class neuroscience and immunology communities in Manhattan. The ideal candidate will be a scientist addressing important questions in neuroimmunology, focusing on basic and translational research at the central and peripheral neuroimmune interface.

• The role is associated with the Corinne Goldsmith Dickinson Center for Multiple Sclerosis, the Brain-Body Research Center, and the Center for Glial Cell Biology.
• The candidate will join a highly productive research environment with ongoing studies including specimen banking and preclinical modeling.
• The candidate will be affiliated with the broader neuroscience community under the Friedman Brain Institute, which has over 250 associated tenure-track faculty.
• The candidate will join an outstanding team of immunologists with expertise in innate immunity, immune-genomics, allergy, microbiome, cancer, inflammatory disease, and immunotherapy.
• The Corinne Goldsmith Dickinson Center for Multiple Sclerosis cares for 4,000 unique patients with over 7,500 patient visits annually, conducting both clinical and basic science studies in MS and related disorders.

Compensation

• Compensation range from $145,000 to $185,000 (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits).
• The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
