Neurohospitalist

The Mount Sinai Department of Neurology is seeking enthusiastic Physicians for a full-time faculty position in our growing Neurohospitalist Division. In this role, you will primarily provide high-quality inpatient general neurology care for patients with complex neurological conditions within our New York City-based health system. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to collaborate with subspecialists, engage in trainee education, and participate in clinical quality improvement initiatives.

Practice Info

• Inpatient general neurology work (non-stroke) within our New York City based health system
• Collaboration with neurological and neurosurgical subspecialists
• Participation in and contribution to a robust QA/PI program
• Engagement in education of trainees, as well as the opportunity to further best practice integration of APPs into our service lines
• Mixture of outpatient clinical work and procedures, such as participation in teaching clinics, commensurate with the applicant's specialization and interests
• Weekend coverage includes a blend of in person and teleneurology coverage across sites

Compensation

• Compensation range from $200K to $320K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

Requirements

• Medical Degree from an Accredited University
• New York Medical License/Active NYS DEA
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology
• Commitment to Mount Sinai and the communities we serve
• Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
