What We Offer

Exciting Neurohospitalist Opportunity in Winston‑Salem, NC! Join our team at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center, a Comprehensive Stroke Center, where you will work in a multidisciplinary inpatient neurology and stroke program. Enjoy a 7 on / 7 off schedule with 12‑hour shifts – approximately 139 day shifts and 36 night shifts annually. Primary coverage at Kernersville and Thomasville primary stroke centers is scheduled every six weeks.

Key Details:

• 7 on / 7 off schedule with 12‑hour shifts
• Approx. 139 day shifts and 36 night shifts annually
• Primary facility: Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center
• Coverage at Primary Stroke Centers in Kernersville and Thomasville every 6 weeks

Stay supported by a team of two Neurologists and two Advanced Practice Providers on each shift.

What You'll Do

• Provide high‑quality patient care in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Engage in team collaboration, community involvement, and continuous quality improvement.
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to the principle of "First Do No Harm".

What We're Looking For

Education & Training:

• Graduate of an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited residency program
• Completion of a specialty fellowship (if applicable)

Licensure & Certification:

• Current MD license in the state of employment
• Board certification or eligibility in Neurology
• Active DEA license
