Neurohospitalist

Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Neurohospitalist to join their inpatient Neurology service. This full-time position offers a consistent 7 on and 7 off schedule with no nights, focusing on consult-only services. The role emphasizes collaboration, independent medical judgment, and contributing to a program dedicated to improving the health of New Mexicans.

Practice Info

• Inpatient Neurology service
• Consult only service; Hospitalists complete admissions and discharges
• Advanced Practice Clinician support
• System wide Epic EMR

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient neurology consultations and exercise independent medical judgment
• Review and interpret MRI and CT imaging
• Read EEGs if experienced or interested
• Collaborate with hospitalists, APCs, and Neurology colleagues
• Participate in system level efforts that enhance quality, performance, and patient experience
• Contribute to a culture grounded in compassion, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Compensation

• Guaranteed salary
• Salary Range $391,000 / Year

Requirements

• MD or DO
• BE or BC in Neurology
• Ability to independently interpret MRI and CT imaging
• Eligibility for a New Mexico medical license
