Responsibilities:- Responsible for the proactive monitoring and reactive/corrective measures for vulnerabilities to the enterprise computer networks and systems- Design implement configure and enforce security controls on network hardware and software components and devices- Perform research and document logical and physical solutions that prevent detect and correct the system to be assessed and authorized- Develop/review/maintain Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifacts in support of accreditation efforts- Identify security requirements to bring a system into compliance- Plan develop execute and document results of security test procedures- Conduct vulnerability testing and analysis- Conducts Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations as needed- Attends and participates within the Change Control Board/Change Approval Board (CCB/CAB) meetings as needed- Authors SOPs as needed or directed- Responsible to fully document assigned tickets to show all work performed in order to pass SLRs- Responsible to maintain accurate CMDB entries for assigned tickets or tasks- Responsible to create, track, and work to resolution Normal and Standard job related Change RequestsQualifications:- US Citizenship required- BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Physical Science, or other technology-related discipline and 5 years of relevant work experience.

Education Substitution:  For each year of degree required, 2 years of experience may be substituted.- Experience in Network Engineering configuring and administering networking devices such as routers switches and firewalls- Experience in the design implementation configuration and enforcement of security controls on network hardware and software components and devices- Experience with the implementation of cybersecurity and Information Assurance (IA) boundary defense techniques and various IA-enabled appliances - Experience in Cybersecurity Engineering vulnerability analysis risk remediation and the implementation of cybersecurity controls to satisfy the RMF- Experience with performing cybersecurity and vulnerability testing- Strong ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in written and oral presentationsPosting Date:Department: -
