Network TechnicianMonitor, maintain, and troubleshoot data and voice networks while responding to alarms and issues identified through monitoring tools. Implement predefined troubleshooting procedures and escalate issues as required. Monitor and control the performance and status of network resources. Utilize software and hardware tools to identify and diagnose complex network performance issues. Provide guidance and direction to less-experienced technicians. Perform complex testing and analysis of network and telecommunications facilities, including power systems, communication devices, lines, modems, and terminals. Support technical solution planning, design, deployment, testing, and migration activities related to plant networking support tasks. Provide wireline and wireless networking support in an enterprise environment. Support day-to-day operational activities for the Data Networking team. Participate as an integrated member of project teams to deliver successful technical solutions. Support incident and event management activities, including troubleshooting, reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective action management. Assist in the design of network solutions using approved technologies in collaboration with peers and vendors. Monitor network performance, security, and stability while proactively addressing issues and trends. Support all project deployment phases, including planning, design, installation, testing, and migration activities. Work in a hands-on capacity deploying networking equipment in industrial environments when required.Demonstrated experience supporting wired LAN technologies in an enterprise Cisco networking environment.

Experience supporting wireless networking technologies. Ability to work in a hands-on technical role within industrial or plant environments. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Ability to support incident management and network operations activities. Willingness to provide on-call support and work flexible hours when required.Experience supporting enterprise data networking technologies.

Experience with LAN switching and routing in Cisco enterprise environments.

Experience with wireless networking technologies.

Experience managing vendor relationships and incident management activities.

Experience with project coordination and technical deployments.

Experience supporting network performance, stability, and security monitoring.

Experience working in heavy industry environments is preferred.Strong time management and multitasking abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. NetBrain support.Associate’s degree in a related technical field. Cisco CCNA certification or higher preferred. Project Management certification preferred.
