Network Specialist

Network Specialist /TechnicianMaas Energy Works is seeking a skilled and dedicated Network Specialist to join our Systems to assist build and maintain industrial IT networks. As a Network Specialist, you will play a role in maintaining and optimizing our company's network infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in computer networking to contribute to the success of our organization, and work with our incredible Systems department.Responsibilities:Configuration, installation, and documentation of networked devicesRemote management and troubleshooting of computers and network devicesOrganization of installation and maintenance schedules, parts acquisition, and inventory managementCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement network solutions.Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access.Conduct regular network audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in computer networking.Qualifications & Skills: The ideal candidate will have experience in the followingBachelor's degree or comparable experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field a plus but not required.Proven experience as a Network Specialist or in a similar role.Familiarity with network monitoring tools and security software.Strong understanding of network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.Strong Administrative skillsExperience with Firewalls, switches, computers, and point to point radiosRemote management and troubleshooting of computers and network devicesMust be proficient in EnglishPhysical Demands Requirements:Work Environment This job mainly operates in a professional office environment.

The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.Physical Demands This is largely a sedentary role with some travel is required. This would require the ability to enter, travel in, and exit vehicles and airplanes.
