Those candidates without a degree will be required to have an additional 5 years of relevant experience for consideration.Certifications: Cisco Professional Certifications preferred (CCNA, CCNP).SKILLS/COMPETENCIESSolid background in network administration and configuration (switches/routers)Understanding of network operating systems (e.g. Cisco IOS, Cisco NX-IOS)Understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g.
BGP, OSPF)Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g. LogicMonitor)Sharp troubleshooting skillsKnowledge and understanding of industry best practices and methodologiesUnderstanding of project delivery within an Agile frameworkAn understanding of the strategic impacts of enterprise initiatives, the supporting IT systems and architecture.Ability to facilitate the integration of all infrastructure technologies that will support the global reach of the client enterprise.Written and oral communication skills appropriate to communicate with a wide variety of individuals (employees and all levels of management) throughout the organization and outside of the organization (i.e. clients, vendors)Ability to work independently with minimal direction or oversight.Preferred experience with scripting and automation (e.g Python, Ansible)Preferred experience with SDWAN technology
