Network Security Operation EngineerNetwork Security Operation Engineer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining systems to protect State Street's network infrastructure. This includes managing security policy, conducting security audits, and analyzing security & network traffic. Additionally, they are tasked with creating, updating, and enforcing network security policies and procedures.
These responsibilities are crucial in ensuring the security and integrity of our network.What You Will Be Responsible For:Firewall policy hygiene management (rule recertification, cleanup, etc.)Identification and remediation of policies violating standardsReporting of policy compliance with standardsCoordination of policy recertificationReview and approval of security change requestsImplementation of security change requestRespond to audit requests, findings and remediationAbility to work during off hours, weekends etc..Creating and updating documentationCore Skills & Experience:Min 5 years' experience with NGFW security technologies - Fortinet, CheckPoint & Palo AltoExperience with security policy Analyzer tools Algosec, Tufin and FiremonExperience with host based security technologiesAnalytic skills for security policy and log analysisExperience working with end usersExperience working on short and long term projectsFamiliar with scriptingExperience with security policy and process auditsGood To Have:Prior experience in financial servicesTechnology certifications – such as NGFW any VendorExperience or basic understanding of SASE vendors - Netskope, Zscaler, Cato Networks, Cloudflare, etcExperience of basic understanding of WAF technologies and load balancingWhat We Value:Ability to work with a team and independentlyStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to identify prioritiesAbility to adapt to dynamic workloadsTakes ownership and drives solutionsStrong documentation skillsStrong organizational skillsEducation & Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent technical certificationsSalary Range:$90,000 - $157,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
