- Work with DoD to develop a reliable, secure network
- Collaborate with SMEs, customers, vendors, and users for network requirements
- Support acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of network components
- Resolve interoperability issues across platforms
- Design and test new boundary security capabilities
- Implement tested security capabilities into production environments
- Identify and support security requirements for network systems
- Mentor or supervise employees in competencies
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with network security and IT systems design
- 3+ years of experience with firewall and enterprise security design
- Experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, or Juniper firewalls
- Experience with packet analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark)
- Experience with monitoring tools and log collectors
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification within 3 months
