We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer II to join a growing Network Security DevOps organization focused on modernizing enterprise firewall and network security services across global environments.
Contract: 12+ Months with potential for Extension/Full-Time Conversion
Key Skills Required
- Automation: Ansible, Terraform, Python
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support enterprise firewall environments
- Manage Fortinet, Cisco, and Juniper firewall platforms
- Build infrastructure automation using Ansible, Terraform, Python, REST APIs, Jenkins, GitHub, YAML, and Jinja2
- Support cloud-based virtual firewalls in AWS and Azure
- Troubleshoot network/security incidents using FortiAnalyzer and Splunk
- Participate in global operations and on-call support
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure teams
Required Experience
- 5+ years in Network Security Engineering/Operations
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, IDS/IPS, NAT, ACLs, DNS, routing/switching
- Hands‑on experience with FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer preferred
Nice to Have
- Oil & Gas industry experience strongly preferred
- SD-WAN exposure
- Security certifications (Fortinet, Cisco, CISSP, GIAC)
