GuidePoint Security is a leading cybersecurity solutions and services firm that partners with federal government agencies to deliver advanced network protection. We are expanding our federal presales engineering team and are looking for a highly skilled Network Security Engineer.
Location : 100% onsite at multiple government sites throughout the D.C. metro area.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the design, implementation, and sustainment of enterprise class cybersecurity technologies.
- Plan and execute policy changes on next-generation firewalls.
- Assist in analysis and design of a worldwide network security architecture.
- Administer configuration changes on enterprise load balancers, including TLS inspection.
- Lead special projects independently and as part of a team.
- Investigate and document security-related incidents.
- Implement corrective measures in response to emerging network security threats.
- Brief senior leadership and government stakeholders on the enterprise network security posture.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance (Polygraph preferred) required prior to starting.
- Experience with Juniper SRX, Palo Alto, F5, Cisco FTD/ASA, Gigamon, FireEye, and RSA NetWitness.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ minimum).
- Clearance requirement: active Top Secret with SCI clearance (Polygraph preferred).
