Network Security Engineer
Location
This is an onsite role based in Fort Mill, United States.
Your Role
A. Delivery Governance & Operations
- Own daily service cadence (DSTUM / operational reviews) ensuring progress tracking and issue resolution.
- Drive adherence to SLA, ticket lifecycle quality, and change management governance.
- Ensure execution consistency across incidents, service requests, and changes with clear accountability.
B. Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the single point of accountability (SPOC) for onsite client interactions.
- Lead client communication for escalations, major changes, and service reviews.
- Translate client expectations into actionable delivery plans for offshore teams.
- Own critical incident response and escalation handling, including root cause analysis and recovery governance.
- Drive corrective action plans and track closure of service improvement initiatives.
- Identify recurring operational inefficiencies and initiate Service Improvement Plans (SIP) .
- Lead adoption of automation and efficiency initiatives (e.g., firewall policy automation).
- Improve process maturity, documentation standards, and SOP adherence.
C. Audit, Risk & Compliance Alignment
- Support audit readiness across Network Security, BCP/DR, and IT Risk domains.
- Ensure documentation accuracy, evidence management, and control adherence.
- Manage risk identification and mitigation actions.
D. Resource & Capability Management
- Align resource skills with service demand and complexity.
- Drive onboarding readiness, cross‑skilling (e.g., Cisco ISE), and knowledge transfer plans.
- Ensure adequate senior coverage for critical operations.
E. Change & Release Leadership
- Implement (as needed) but otherwise oversee critical changes and release support activities ensuring minimal disruption.
- Balance agility (urgent asks) with governance and compliance discipline.
Your Skills And Experience
A. Functional / Technical Competencies
- Network Security Platforms: Palo Alto, Cisco FMC/FTD, ASA, Fortinet, Cisco ISE, DDoS solutions
- Hands‑on expertise in the above mentioned Network security tools.
- Should be a Technical Manager working alongside the broader offshore / nearshore team.
- Security Operations Governance (Incident, Request, Change).
- ServiceNow / ITSM process governance (inferred from delivery model; not explicitly cited).
- Governance Risk & Compliance fundamentals.
- Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery fundamentals.
B. Delivery Leadership Competencies

Compensation
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $70,508 - $160,380 .
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction. It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
