Our Fortune 500 Financial sector client is seeking a Security Architect to support enterprise security initiatives focused on Information Protection & Risk Management (IPRM), Zero Trust, and Identity & Access Management (IAM). This role will partner closely with senior architects and contribute to both strategic design and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of enterprise security architecture frameworks
• Contribute to IPRM and defensive security initiatives across the organization
• Assist in developing and evolving Zero Trust architecture strategies
• Partner with senior architects to deliver scalable IAM solutions
• Provide hands-on support for application security and data protection initiatives
• Act as a peer within the internal architecture team, contributing to portfolio-level decisions
• Help manage overflow project work and drive execution of key security priorities

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security architecture or cybersecurity engineering
• Strong expertise in:
• Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Zero Trust frameworks
• Application security
• Data protection and access controls
• Ability to translate security requirements into architectural solutions
• Proven ability to work independently and problem-solve in ambiguous environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or regulated environments
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO)
• Hands-on experience implementing enterprise security solutions
