To provide specialized network and cyber-security administration support, the contract Network Security Administrator will work remotely, focusing on firewall management, hardware lifecycle updates, and compliance maintenance for state agencies. Key responsibilities Review and execute Firewall Service Requests (FSRs), break-fix tickets, and formal change requests Facilitate the decommissioning and refresh of End-of-Life (EOL) hardware Implement security controls and configurations to maintain compliance with IRS, FBI, and CJI standards Required qualifications Proficiency in Palo Alto Firewalls, including security policies and threat prevention Experience with Cisco ASA Firewalls, focusing on configuration and troubleshooting Foundational knowledge of general networking concepts, including routing protocols and the OSI model Ability to manage hardware lifecycles and execute critical security requests Experience in compliance maintenance for governmental or regulatory standards
