Network Project ManagerASRC Federal System Solutions LLC, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Network Project Manager in Colorado Springs, CO. This is to support the Wing Information and Communication Support (WICS 2) Contract Software Support requirement at Schriever SFB, CO.

ResponsibilitiesProvide network Operation and Maintenance (O&M) for Air Force Space Command's Space Digital Integrated Network (SDIN)Scheduling for designing and engineering networks and performing detailed 4-Tier MS Project in detailed long-term planningProvide engineering studies, recommendations, and other reports as neededOversee device configuration design, testing, implementation and ongoing updatesOversee circuit changes, route alterations, and other critical network functionsTrain new staff and support staff developmentMonitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Red SDIN, Black SDIN, and SONET networksProvide troubleshooting assistance of T1's through OC-12c's on the CISCO SONET Network using CISCO Transport Controller and CISCO Transport ManagerSeek out opportunities to implement automation and other technologies to improve outcomesInteract with customers for troubleshooting, and communicate progress to staffOccasional travel as requiredSupport other contract functional areas and perform other duties as requiredQualificationsBachelor's degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent experience, and five to seven years of related experienceRequires an active U.S. Government Secret Security ClearanceRequires IAT Level 2 certification (E.g., COMPTIA Security+) immediately upon government mandateCisco/Juniper knowledge/experience, JNCIS-SP or JNCIS-ENT certification strongly preferredTransport network experience strongly preferredSerial and optical network experience preferredSolarWinds Orion, CISCO Prime Optical, and Juniper CTP View experience a plusExperience with scalable network device management and automation technologies a plusProject management and scheduling dutiesAbility to create, edit, and manage a 4-tier IMS in MS Project from Cradle to GraveWe invest in the lives of our employees, both in and out of the workplace, by providing competitive pay and benefits packages.
