Network Operations Center (NOC) TechnicianThis is an exceptional opportunity to work with an Oil&Gas Services company in San Antonio, Texas.Job Description:Pay Rate: $21 / hour plus Overtime, Medical, Dental and Vision under a W-2 Contract to HireThis person will support 24x7x365 operations of the Network Operations Center (NOC) providing oversight of incoming alerts, notification of support teams and incident managers as required.This role is critical to ensure that the systems are performing reliably to support every business unit.The value of this position as part of a team is to keep IT services available for the business to run and support our customers in their electric and gas energy needs and interacting with the business in paying for those services.Job Function:The monitoring and support of Corporate and Operational: Computer systems (hardware, software, CPU, file systems) Network infrastructure, including firewallsThe monitoring and restart of file systems backupsMonitoring and support of problem resolution for batch processingMonitoring and support of processes for SAP applications: SAP-CIS, SAP-FIS, SAP-HR, SAP-WMS, and SAP-AMIThe Monitoring of Telecom infrastructureAnswer Third party vendor calls and escalate to support teamsAnswer EIT support line (2020) after hours, weekends, and holidaysData Center environment monitoring at: Main Office, EMC, TLCDocument and escalation of issues to Support TeamsCoordinate with Production Control & Support Teams for critical alertsSupport and coordinate scheduled outagesCompile and distribute daily Morning ReportCompile and distribute Weekly ReportMaintain updated NOC ProceduresMaintain updated call duty rosters for Support TeamsMaintain 24x7x365 coverageNote that if you get hired you must undergo a background check, a driving records check and a drug screening
