TheengineerwillworkcloselywithinfrastructureteamtoensuretheState’snetworkservicesremainreliable,scalable,

secure,andalignedwithenterprisemodernizationgoals.Thisisahands-onengineeringpositionthatrequiresstrong

technicalexpertise,effectivecommunication,andtheabilitytosupportmission-criticalsystemsacrossdatacentersand

statewideoperations.

KeyResponsibilities

CiscoACI&DataCenterNetworking

• Design,implement,andmaintainCiscoNexusplatformsrunningACImode,includingVRFs,Bridge Domains,EPGs/ESGs,L3Out,contracts,andfabricpolicies.
• IntegrateACIwithvirtualizationandcontainerplatformsincludingRedHatOpenShiftVMMand
• ConfigureandoptimizeRoCEv2withintheACIfabricforhigh-performance,low-latencyworkloads.
• ConductadvancedtroubleshootingofACIfabrichealth,faults,endpointlearning,contracts,and

CiscoCatalyst&Software-DefinedAccess

• DeployandsupportCiscoCatalystplatformswithincampusenvironments.
• DesignandmaintainSoftware-DefinedAccess(SDA)architectures,includingSDAWiredFabricand

Fabric-EnabledWireless

• Managefabricunderlayandoverlay,policymapping,authenticationintegrations,andassurance operations.
• Collaboratewithwirelessengineerstooptimizecoverage,performance,andpolicyenforcement acrossSDA.

Identity-DrivenNetworking&SecurityTechnologies

• SupportZeroTrusteffortsthroughidentity-centricsegmentationandpolicyintegrationacrossACI andSDAfabrics.

Visibility,Analytics&Observability

• DeployandmanageThousandEyesforend-to-endvisibility,routingpathanalysis,andperformance monitoring.
• ManageDNASpacesforlocationanalytics,telemetryingestion,devicebehavior,andwireless
• Providemeaningfulinsightstoleadershipusingdatafromtheseobservabilityplatforms.
• Designing,andimplementingPaloAltoNetworkssecuritysolutionsacrossenterpriseenvironments.
• Assistinmodernizationplanning,platformupgrades,procurementprocesses,andstatewide technologyinitiatives.

RequiredSkills/Experience

TheDORSMEmustpossess:

• Minimumof15yearsofexperienceworkingwithCisconetworking.

RequiredSkills&Qualifications

• Hands-onexperiencewithCiscoACIinproductionenvironments.
• DeepknowledgeofACIconstructs(VRF,BD,EPG,ESG,L3Out,contracts).
• ExperienceintegratingACIwithOpenShiftVMMandCilium/Isovalent.
• ProficiencywithCiscoCatalystplatformsandSDAfabrictechnologies.
• StrongunderstandingofThousandEyes,CyberVision,andDNASpacesorcomparabletools.
• SolidcommandofcoreTCP/IP,routing,switching,QoS,andnetworksecurityfundamentals.
• Stronganalyticalandcommunicationskillswiththeabilitytoworkinfast-paced,mission-criticalenvironments
