Network Infrastructure Engineer | Cleveland, OH | Hybrid
Duration: 3–6-month contract with potential for contract-to-hire
Schedule: Three days onsite per week in Cleveland

Help build and strengthen the networks behind a growing manufacturing environment. We’re seeking a hands-on Network Infrastructure Engineer to support enterprise connectivity, optimize performance, and deliver network infrastructure for new sites and expansion projects.
What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain WAN, LAN, WLAN, and cloud network solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and outages.
- Monitor and improve network performance, capacity, and availability.
- Support new-site deployments and upgrades, including configuration and testing.
- Conduct network audits, failover testing, and disaster recovery exercises.
- Maintain network diagrams, documentation, and technical standards.
- Partner with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and cross-functional teams.
- Mentor junior network engineers and support technology vendor evaluation and implementation.
What You’ll Bring
- 3–5 years of network engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routing, switching, and wireless technologies .
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
- Availability for an on-call rotation and travel as required .
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Key Technical Skills
- BGP and OSPF routing
- Cisco Nexus spine-leaf architecture
- OT networking
- Firewall and network segmentation , ideally Palo Alto
- Cisco ISE
Preferred Qualifications
- CCNA or CCNP certification.
- SD-WAN / SD-LAN and Azure or AWS networking experience.
- F5 load balancing and Riverbed WAN optimization.
- Experience supporting multi-site or manufacturing environments.
