Network / ICT Technician Lead

We are currently seeking to appoint a Network / ICT Technician Lead to support operations within a high-density data center environment focused on AI infrastructure.

This role sits as the senior on-site escalation point for network and structured cabling issues. You’ll take ownership of diagnosing and resolving physical layer faults, ensuring connectivity issues are identified and fixed quickly to avoid impact to live workloads.

It’s a practical, hands‑on role where you’ll be expected to lead from the front technically, while also guiding junior technicians and improving how issues are handled on site.

Key responsibilities:

• Acting as the escalation point for network and cabling issues onsite
• Diagnosing fiber, cabling, and connectivity faults
• Carrying out testing, repair, and validation of fixes
• Supporting deployment of tools and improving diagnostics capability
• Working closely with network engineering teams on escalations

This will suit someone with a strong background in structured cabling and fiber infrastructure who also understands enough networking to validate fixes properly. You don’t need to be a deep network engineer, but you do need to know what “good” looks like and be confident owning issues through to resolution. The role requires independence, attention to detail, and a willingness to take responsibility as the go-to person onsite.
