Field Service Representative (FSR)Role Overview: Our Aerospace client is looking for a full-time Field Service Representative (FSR) to join our team. In this position, you will play a crucial role supporting the integration and test of networked communication systems. These consultants will be traveling to Navy bases to teach sailors how to install, connect, troubleshoot, and support the communication pods that our client makes. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include the following:Provide on-site technical support for the operation of podded communication systemsProvide technical liaison to supported military units/elementsDevelop and maintain technical documentation which includes test plans and proceduresDevelop configurations to support tests and prototypes of developing systemsDevelop troubleshooting procedures and work-around documentationConduct systems and sub-systems testingReview and provide feedback on system specifications, development, test, and network documentsInstall and configure Windows/Linux serversSet up and maintain DNS/Exchange/Active DirectoryMaintain virtual environmentsDeploy, monitor, and maintain network gear to include switches, servers, firewalls, etc. and troubleshoot network related problemsRequired Skills, Experience, and Education: 4+ years of experience with systems testing, networking, or other IT related fields Tactical Data Link familiarity (e.g. CDL, TTNT, L-16 (Link 16), SADL, etc.) required. Hands-on experience installing, testing, and troubleshooting RF and tactical communications equipment (antennas, cabling, radios, modems, encryption devices). Live field testing, experience with military communication systems required. Working knowledge on network security devices (e.g. firewall, NGFW, IPS, IDS) Working knowledge on event management systems.

Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) computer and radio systems Working knowledge of routing, switching, protocols, VLANs, IP subnetting, LAN, WAN, etc Must possess high proficiency in Linux and Windows Must have a high-level understanding of automation and implementation
