Work Arrangement: Hybrid schedule following an initial onsite onboarding period. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite Monday-Friday during their first 90 days, with a hybrid schedule available thereafter.
Compensation: $90,500-$117,000 base salary
Ledgent Technology has partnered with a local employer on their search for a Network Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on networking professional to join a growing technology team responsible for supporting and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise networking environments
- Support routing, switching, wireless, and firewall technologies
- Monitor network performance, availability, and security
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues and support escalated incidents
- Participate in network upgrades, implementations, and infrastructure improvements
- Maintain network documentation and operational procedures
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams on technical initiatives
- Assist with capacity planning and performance optimization
Qualifications
- 4+ years of enterprise networking experience
- Strong knowledge of routing and switching technologies
- Experience supporting firewall environments
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Cisco certifications or equivalent experience
- Experience with wireless technologies
- Exposure to enterprise security concepts
