Network EngineerIT Management Corporation (ITMC), through its 101VOICE division, is seeking a Network Engineer to support network and communication systems for education, government, and healthcare customers.This role works closely with engineering, operations, and customer teams to assist with deployments, troubleshoot technical issues, and support ongoing infrastructure projects and daily operations.The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.This is a full-time, in-person position based in Santa Clara, CA.ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and resolve network and systems-related issues involving LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routing, switching, firewalls, and UCaaS-related infrastructureSupport Level 1 and Level 2 escalations while working collaboratively with senior engineers when neededPerform root-cause analysis and document findings and resolutionsHelp maintain customer uptime, reliability, and overall service qualityAssist with implementation and support of customer and internal infrastructure projectsParticipate in upgrades, maintenance activities, migrations, and deploymentsCollaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure successful project executionSupport scheduled after-hours maintenance windows when requiredParticipate in customer meetings and technical discussions when neededSupport solution validation and deployment planningCommunicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiencesContribute to a positive customer experience through responsiveness and professionalismMaintain accurate documentation within ITMC ticketing and project management systemsTrack time, tasks, troubleshooting steps, and project updates appropriatelyFollow internal workflows, escalation procedures, and operational standardsContribute to process improvements and documentation updatesRequired QualificationsExperience supporting enterprise network environmentsStrong understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, and network troubleshootingExperience with enterprise Wi-Fi and firewall platformsAbility to troubleshoot technical issues in customer-facing environmentsStrong organizational and documentation skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work onsite in Santa Clara, CAPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting education, government, or healthcare environmentsExperience with platforms such as Cisco, Ruckus, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, or similar technologiesFamiliarity with VoIP, UCaaS, or communication systemsRelevant certifications such as CCNA, Network+, Fortinet, or similar are a plusComfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team environmentKey Success FactorsStrong team player with a collaborative and solutions-oriented mindsetAbility to manage multiple priorities and tasks effectivelyProfessional and customer-focused communication styleCalm and methodical approach to troubleshooting and issue resolutionStrong sense of accountability, ownership, and follow-throughCommitment to reliability, customer trust, and continuous improvement
