Remote Contract General

Network EngineerThis is a 100% onsite role located in Sparks, NV. The position requires an expert in network engineering with strong hands-on experience in Cisco SDA or ACI, Palo Alto, Wireless, and IpSec VPN. Candidates will be working in a high-pressure factory production environment to resolve P1 issues using packet capture.Required Skills & QualificationsExpert in implementing and supporting Cisco ACI (policy model, contracts, EPGs, fabric troubleshooting).Experience administering and troubleshooting Palo Alto Firewalls including Security policies, NAT, routing, VPN (IPSec, site-to-site, remote access), Panorama management, and threat prevention profiles.Manage and support enterprise wireless networks (Cisco, Aruba, or equivalent), including RF optimization, roaming, and high-density deployments.Design, configure, and troubleshoot IPSec VPNs, including third-party interoperability.Administer Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) including grid management, failover, and automation integration.Lead hands-on P1 troubleshooting for complex network issues across Application, LAN, WAN, DC, and security domains.Real-time packet capture skills to investigate complex issues during live P1 calls (Wireshark).Strong understanding of network routing and switching protocols required.Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.Preferred Skills & QualificationsExcellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner.Resourceful, with the ability to work independently.Strong time management skills and attention to detail.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesTroubleshooting Level 3 and advanced network issues and performing callbacks to ensure issues are resolved with appropriate solutions provided to the customer in a high-pressure factory environment.Responsible for investigating causes, testing solutions, and suggesting solutions in place to reduce the time taken to resolve network-related tickets.Manage new and existing equipment, hardware, and network device software upgrades.Understanding network support priorities and objectives and taking an active role in accomplishing them.Leading and driving technical operational issues independently in a high-pressure environment engaging multiple stakeholders during live troubleshooting.Helping Level 1 and Level 2 resources to address network-related issues.Company Benefits & CultureComprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.Supportive and inclusive company culture.
