Grow with us.Position OverviewWe are seeking Network Engineer or Network Technician with hands-on experience in Cisco and Fortinet technologies and a solid understanding of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP. This role focuses on the implementation, support, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure connectivity across client environments. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced setting, supporting day-to-day operations, and contributing to network improvements as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNsSupport network upgrades, installations, and changes with minimal disruption to operationsAssist in implementing routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) to support network performance and stabilityMonitor network performance and identify issues impacting availability or performanceTroubleshoot and resolve Layer 2/3 network issues across LAN/WAN environmentsPerform root cause analysis and support resolution of network outages and connectivity issuesUtilize monitoring tools to maintain uptime and system healthSupport firewall and VPN configurations to maintain secure network environmentsAssist in applying security best practices and addressing vulnerabilitiesParticipate in routine maintenance, patching, and system updatesMaintain accurate documentation including configurations, diagrams, and proceduresWork closely with internal teams (engineering, support, project teams) to support client environmentsProvide support and knowledge sharing with team members as neededQualifications Experience & Education5+ years of experience in network engineering, or Cisco CCNA certification with at least 1 year of relevant hands-on experienceExperience working with Cisco and/or Fortinet networking technologiesExposure to routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRPBachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent hands-on experienceTechnical SkillsStrong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP)Experience with routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, or similar)Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniquesBasic understanding of network security concepts and best practicesAbility to troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues efficientlyTravel RequirementsAbility to travel to customer sites throughout NYC, Long Island, Westchester, New Jersey, Connecticut, and surrounding areas.Valid driver's license required.Reliable transportation required.Must be able to transport networking equipment and tools to and from customer locations when necessary.Preferred (Not Required)Cisco CCNA or working toward certificationFortinet certifications (NSE/FCF/FCA)Experience in a managed services or client-facing environmentWork Environment & LocationOnsite role based in the NYC metro area (Manhattan, East Hanover, and client sites as needed)Combination of on-site client work and remote flexibilityMay require occasional evening or weekend work based on project needsBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision plans401(k) with company match15 days of PTO in your first yearPaid company holidaysHybrid work options
