Network EngineerImmediate need for a Network Engineer for a position in the IT Industry. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity with long-term potential located in Philadelphia, PA.Key Responsibilities/Key Requirements and Technology Experience:Skills Required: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required.Will also consider one year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education.At least 7 years of experience.Experience to Telecom service provider domain predominantly into networking area of Telecom.Good Understanding of L2/L3 networking conceptsGood understanding of networking protocols and technologies such as BGP, MPLS, Layer 2 and Layer 3 VPN.Understanding of configuration on Cisco IOS or Juniper JUNOS.Basic understanding of IP Routing, VLAN tunnelling and WAN proto-cols.Scripting skills in Python would be an added advantage.Strong Analytical skills and problem solving.Our client is a leading IT Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
