Network Engineer For Cve Mitigation ProjectOur client is seeking an experienced network engineer to join their team for a CVE mitigation project. With a deep service provider background to support routing infrastructure, network security operations, and ongoing platform engineering efforts. The ideal candidate brings hands-on expertise across Cisco IOS-XR, ASR and Nexus platforms, and a working knowledge of automation and scripting.
You will design, configure, and troubleshoot routing protocols (OSPF, IS-IS, BGP) across service provider infrastructure and operate and maintain Cisco ASR and Nexus platforms running IOS-XR. You will support MPLS and related transport services and monitor and respond to CVEs affecting network infrastructure; implement mitigations in a timely manner. You will contribute to automation initiatives using Python or similar scripting tools and collaborate with engineering, NOC, and security teams on incidents and planned changes.
This is a fully remote contract role.
