Junior Network EngineerWe are looking for a junior network engineer with an interest in penetration testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities and weaknesses in computer networks, hosts, and applications to help improve security and prevent unauthorized access. You will be expected to conduct penetration testing on various systems and networks, document findings, and provide recommendations for remediation.Typical day includes:Conduct network and system penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and weaknessesDocument findings and provide recommendations for remediationProvide technical expertise and guidance to other teams in the organizationStay up-to-date with the latest penetration testing tools, techniques, and methodologiesDevelop and maintain testing methodologies and proceduresCollaborate with other security professionals to develop and implement effective security strategiesTechnical skills required:Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systemsFamiliarity with fundamental networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, subnetting, and firewallsSoft skills required:Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.Education requirements:Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field plus 0-2 years experience.
