Engineer Circuit ProvisioningThe Engineer Circuit Provisioning is responsible for ensuring the delivery of data and voice circuits to all domestic and international locations. This position coordinates the team of engineers, FSD personnel and vendors to accomplish all the actions required for implementation of a physical connection to the Wide Area Network.Responsibilities:Working with other IT organizations such WAN Engineering, IT Provisioning, Network Operations, Field Services and Airport station personnel to determine site and circuit requirements at locationsResponsible for tactical telecommunications planningObtain technical network requirements for ordering telecom vendor circuitsSchedule access, surveys and other necessary dispatches as needed for carriersEnsuring carrier diversity at critical locationsManage carrier delivery intervals, processes and escalate accordinglySchedules and manages the activities for the installation, test and turn up of circuitsAble to interpret site surveys to determine carrier DMARC for circuit extension and installation location of the company’s equipmentUnderstands space, power and inside wiring requirements to extend service within a building.Interfaces directly with site contacts and property management to schedule dispatches and access to facilitiesInterpret and obtain COI (certificate of insurance) requirements with property managementMaintain and updates order management and circuit inventory records in the designated tools.Understand network trends and best practices within the industry.Qualifications:Education / Certification: Bachelor’s degree preferably in Information Technology or equivalent work experienceKnowledge/Skills:Strong technical knowledge of MPLS, SIP, TDM, Broadband, Internet and Wave network technologiesFacility with telecom vendor systems and portalsBackground with Telecom Expense Management SystemsGood Business Acumen.Ability to resolve conflict, drive project completion, and collaborate with other teams.Strong verbal and written skills.Demonstrated problem solving and creative thinking capabilities.Ability to align business requirements into technical requirements.
