Network EngineerThe Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure connectivity. This role will support network performance by monitoring systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions that maintain the stability and efficiency of the organization's networks. In addition, the Network Engineer will collaborate with IT teams and other departments to support system integrations, network upgrades, and security initiatives.Duties and Responsibilities:Specialize in network engineering in a global enterprise environmentProvide network engineering, implementation, analytical, and operational supportEnsure compliance to established system architecture, regulations and security policies, follow standards and best practices, and author and maintain support documentationWork closely with Staff Network Engineers on design and initiativesMaintain current network solution within manufacturing, workplace, retail, and data center environmentFunction as a Tier 2-3 escalation pointRequirements gathering, analyze, and propose solution to networking needsProvision, implement, test/validation, and maintain networking services per solution designConduct product POC evaluationMonitor, analyze, and report metrics of network servicesDocument network knowledge base and operational "Run-Book"Must be able to work occasional weekends, after hours, and holidaysRequirements:3+ years' experience mid-large global enterprise networking infrastructureExtensive experience in IP networking, L2/L3 network protocols (spanning-tree, OSPF, BGP), TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, end to end QOS, VLAN, VRRP, LACP, MC-LAG, EVPN with VXLAN, ACL, application flow, NAC, and infrastructure cablingExtensive experience with multi-vendor switching technologies including Juniper, Arista, and CiscoExtensive experience with Juniper SRX and Palo Alto Networks firewall services including IPSEC VPN, URL filtering, and IDS/IPSExperience with various tools such as Protocol Analyzer, SNMP, Netflow, IPAM, RADIUS, Splunk, network taps, and load/stress testingExperience with developing scripts to automate infrastructure deployment and collect metricsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
