Network EngineerThe Network Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise network infrastructure supporting client's, Inc. and its subsidiaries. This role ensures secure, reliable, and high-performing network services across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, with a strong emphasis on compliance, cybersecurity, and operational excellence in support of federal and commercial customers.This position is remote with occasional travel; however, candidates based in Juneau are preferred due to the complexity of the local network.The top three required skills are:Enterprise Network Infrastructure & Cloud - Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN/WLAN/VPN systems across on-premises, cloud (Azure/AWS), and hybrid environments using vendors like HPE Aruba and SonicWALLNetwork Security & Federal Compliance - Implement security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, access controls) aligned with NIST, DoD requirements, and support ATO activities and compliance auditsAdvanced Troubleshooting & Support - Diagnose and resolve complex network issues across multiple layers, provide Tier II/III support, and monitor performance/availability with strong problem-solving skillsThe position will produce:Client can win and keep federal contracts (which require strict cybersecurity standards) while operating efficiently across multiple locations and subsidiaries.
