Network EngineerManage and oversee the administration and maintenance of computer networks, including hardware, systems software, applications software and all configurations. Diagnose and resolve systems problems. Weekly firewall implementation, performing upgrades on switches and routers. Responsible for configuring Cisco routers, switches and firewalls across the environment.
Monitor network performance and provide guidance on troubleshooting customer network problems. Configure network switches to send traffic to packet switches for monitoring traffic. Perform change management to meet stage outage policies. Work with software and tools such as, Wireshark, nGenius One, and Cisco.
